Twitter Inc. TWTR, -7.04% on Sunday said that four top executives
‘ engineering chief Alex Roetter, product head Kevin Weil, human
resources vice president Skip Schipper and media head Katie Stanton ‘
were leaving the company voluntarily.

The media had a field day with news of the departures, saying that
these executives were really fired. Twitter Chief Executive Jack
Dorsey called those media reports ‘inaccurate press rumors’ and said
instead that the four executives had ‘chosen to leave the company’ and
would be ‘taking some well-deserved time off’.

Was really hoping to talk to Twitter employees about this later this
week, but want to set the record straight now:
