Lee, 32, got her start in tech at Google (GOOGL, Tech30) under
Marissa Mayer. While at Google, Lee sent an e-mail with product
suggestions to a startup she was an active user of: social shopping
site Polyvore. That note led to a job offer. Lee became CEO and
honorary cofounder of the company and led Polyvore through its sale to
Yahoo (YHOO, Tech30) in August (where Mayer is now CEO).

Best advice:

find your own style and someone with a similar style who you can learn
from.”
