There are many stocks in the InvestDashboard.com universe.

They mainly include stocks listed on the United States Exchanges:

  • The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)
  • The Nasdaq
  • The American Stock Exchange (AMEX)

Many of the stocks listed are companies based in the United States of America.

Some of those stocks listed in these American exchanges are international stocks under a category called ADR (American Depository Receipts).

Some examples of international stocks (ADRs) listed on the American exchanges:

  • Alibaba (BABA): China
  • Korea Electric Power (KEP): Korea
  • Deutsche Bank (DB): Germany
  • BRF S.A. (BRFS): Brazil
  • Dr. Reddy (RDY): India

Any brokerage account which allows the purchase of stocks such as “IBM” or “AAPL” will support the purchase of the international ADRs.

What about international stocks which are not trading as ADRs?

There are many international stocks which can’t immediately be traded in a normal brokerage account. However, some brokerages may allow special access, or special global trading accounts which allows the brokerage user in the U.S.A. to purchase international stocks.
